Juliette Santegoeds, MSc

Juliette Santegoeds is lecturer and researcher at the Public Management programme with a specialisation in local democracy, social innovation, management ethics and network governance, focusing on urban networks and challenges. She studies Political Sciences, specialised in Women Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Previously she did research on civil servants who functioned as so-called boundary spanners between neighbourhood networks and the hierarchical networks in the city hall.

In January 2020 she joined the Civic Technology research group to investigate the political and managerial processes in democratic innovation processes, where digital means are applied, for example for neighbourhood budgets and agendas.

Juliette is also a starting entrepreneur as ‘governance artist’ at Wise City Projects.
