Raymond Hoogendoorn is an experienced data scientist, working as principal lecturer in the faculty of IT & Design and lead scientist of the Big Data Innovation Hub in Zoetermeer. In the research group he investigates the possibilities of using data and artificial intelligence for deliberative democracy, for example to improve inclusion in citizen participation. Raymond has a broad experience as data scientist in various companies. He hold a PhD from Delft University of Technology and, besides his work at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, he is also professor of Applied Data Science and Logistics at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
